Support Staff
Harry Whyte
Harry was born in Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. He graduated from Broughton High School in 1980 and from Sandhills Community College in 1982. He attended NCSU for Engineering from 1982-1983, but left to be part of the start-up for First Class Automotive. Harry's interest in the auto repair industry was evident early on, as he has been working on BMWs since he was 13 years old. He is also married with 2 children. Harry loves architecture and design (especially modern), cars, computers, cycling, golf and being outdoors. He also has coached soccer teams since 1999, is a 2nd grade Sunday school teacher and a current Executive Board member for Camp Oak Hill.
Jed Packer
Jed attended Atlantic Christian College in Wilson from 1970-1972. He also attended Wake Technical Institute for 1975-1976 to obtain a degree in Automotive Technology. From 1980-1982, Jed was the owner of Import Autocraft in Garner, NC, specializing in BMW Repair and service. Jed partnered with Harry in 1983 to help start First Class Automotive. He is married with 2 adult children, Travis and Allyson. He likes gardening, landscaping, sports (especially tennis), bicycling, swimming and walking. Jed is a current member of Service Center Scholars, NFIB, IFO and BBB. He also was a past member of the Bosch Service Council as well.
Lyn Anderson
Lyn has been with First Class Automotive since March of 2004 and is a graduate of NC State University. He has 21 years in automotive service including 16 years as a service advisor. He is also a Spin Instructor, avid cyclist, golfer & book collector.
Tate Simmons
Tate is from Raleigh, NC and is a graduate of NC State University. Tate has been working at First Class Automotive since October 2010. Tate is, as he puts it, learning how to be a service advisor & how to manage parts under the direction of Lyn, Jed & Harry. Tate spends most of his free time walking his dog "Sugar."
Jackie Bullock
Jackie was born & raised in Apex, North Carolina and now lives in Knightdale. Jackie has 2 children & six grandchildren. He enjoys restoring classic cars & attending auto shows. Jackie has been working for First Class Automotive since September 2001.
Devin Agee
Devin Agee is from West Chester, New York and moved to Chapel Hill, NC in June, 2000. He attended Chapel Hill High School where he played men's basketball for four years. He then completed three years at North Carolina State University and plans on receiving a business management degree. He loves sports and his family. Devin spends most of his free time with his two dogs Agee 2, a blue nose pit-bull and his toy poodle Oreo.
Technicians
Ian Stubbs
Ian has been working with First Class Automotive his entire automotive career; he has been employed at First Class since September 1991! Ian's passion is diagnostic assessments and is especially interested in BMW & Mercedes Benz. Ian and his wife live in Wake Forest with the company of their four animals. When not spending time hanging out with friends or boating on lakes, Ian travels with his family and friends and enjoys sampling local & craft brews.
Todd Mueller
Todd was born in April 1965 in Belleville, Illinois. He graduated from Mascoutah High School and enlisted in the Air Force as a weather forecaster for 12 years. He was married in 1991 and has 2 daughters. Todd received his Bachelor of Science degree from NC Wesleyan in 2005. Todd has a Master ASE Certification & has worked with First Class Automotive since May 2000.
Curt Floyd
Curt has 18 years of auto repair experience and has been employed with First Class Automotive since March 2005. He is ASE Certified, as well as being both BMW and VW factory trained. Curt is married with one child and enjoys running, tennis, traveling and frequent trips to the beach. He also volunteers for Big Brothers, Big Sisters and Habitat for Humanity.
Lee Haywood
Lee is a native of North Carolina and has lived in Wake County for 35 years. Lee has been an automotive technician for 9 years and has worked at First Class Automotive since January 2008. He continues to enjoy the new challenges and opportunities that he is presented with every day. He holds ASE Certifications in Electrical Repair, Heating & Air Conditioning, Brake Repair, and Engine Performance. He will be achieving ASE Master Certification in the near future. He now lives in Cary with his wife & 2 sons. He enjoys spending time with his family & they all enjoy spending time outside.
Nic Bird
Nic was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia then moved to Raleigh, North Carolina. Nic started working on cars when he was 15 years old and after graduating high school, moved to Savannah, Georgia. In Savannah, he was able to train under a BMW & Mercedes Benz Master Technician. Nic & his high school sweetheart were married when they were 20 & moved back to Raleigh to be near family. Nic has been working with First Class Automotive since December 2010. Nic enjoys the beach, hanging out with family & especially his wife. Nic also enjoys video games, going to car shows and sports of any kind.
